Background
Coming from Isabella, Philippines at seventeen with her father as the vanguard, is Olive Nava. She actually met Cora (our hygienist) when they were eighteen, so they have a long history together! The curious and the studious woman has completed vocational courses at De Anza for a dental assistant, as well as certifications for a Nursing Assistant, and now works at eDental as our lovely front desk representative!
What she enjoys most about working at eDental is the opportunity to learn. While she loves to probe Cora and Doctor Elazegui about things she may not be as familiar with to expand on her knowledge, she also enjoys making conversation and making jokes at the front desk.
Outside the Office
Olive has lots of love for animals and enjoys playing fetch with her four dogs, playing with her eight tabby cats. If she’s not spending time with her animal companions, she likes cleaning the house, catering to her garden of leafy green vegetables, preparing meals with her sister or watching some good shows on TV. You can find her immersed in worlds full of learning material such as police stories, discovery, or history. One of her favorites is a Filipino drama, Amaya, a show with a historical light on the tradition of Filipino warriors before the Spaniards.
She also loves being the clown of the house. She loves to spread laughter by telling jokes and pranking people. With her funny nature, she’ll keep things upbeat and lighthearted. She also has a hidden talent—drawing! Because her younger self would fill up notebooks and sketchbooks with her creations, she has a knack for drawing people and can doodle for days.
His staff are all very friendly and they really make it a point to get to know you so you're not just "that one patient". They make sure you don't miss any appointments or get too far behind with regular check ups when they text you reminders which I am very thankful for because with a busy work schedule you'll often forget.
